Since the weather first started warming up I have been itching to get a swing for Malachi. Of course, that came with the complication of where the swing would go. After researching prices on swing sets we quickly shot down that idea. Since we don’t plan on staying at the beach for very long, we wanted to have something that was easy to take apart and mobile for moving. So that meant that Daddy got to build one. Hal really got a kick out of the sawing and drilling and screwing screws and building. He took such pride in building something for his boy. After all Hal’s hard work, we couldn’t wait to let Malachi try the swing out. From the first push he was hooked. Seriously, our kid loves to swing. Between the motion of the swing and getting to watch the world, he is a very happy boy. And Mommy and Daddy like it too because it chills him out.
